Pause: A Daytreat Experience

Role: Video Production, Editing, Creative Direction
Focus: Event Coverage, Shortform Video, Storytelling
Industry: Wellness / Live Experiences

Introduction & Goal

Pause is a wellness experience created by Dr. Hava Rose, designed to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and engage in guided journaling, workshops, and community-based healing.

Through events ranging from intimate workshops to larger gatherings, Pause. creates space for reflection, creativity, and connection — blending wellness with shared experience.

The goal was to build content that could:

  • Capture the emotional depth of the experience

  • Promote upcoming events and workshops

  • Position Pause as both a brand and a movement

The challenge was translating something deeply personal and in-person into content that still felt authentic online.

Process & Experience

Pause isn’t just an event — it’s a feeling.

That meant the content couldn’t feel overly produced or commercial. It needed to reflect energy, emotion, and connection.

I approached this by focusing on three core elements:

  • Human moments — real interactions, reflection, and vulnerability

  • Atmosphere — the space, lighting, movement, and environment

  • Guided storytelling — grounding the experience through Hava’s voice and message

Content was structured to balance:

  • Promotional needs (events, ticket sales)

  • Emotional storytelling (why the experience matters)

From a production standpoint:

  • Captured both structured moments (workshops, speakers) and candid interactions

  • Focused on movement, expression, and group energy

  • Built shortform content that felt immersive, not just informative

The goal was to create content that didn’t just show the event — but made people feel what it’s like to be there.

The Outcome

The result was content that helped position Pause. as more than an event — as an experience people want to be part of.

  • Created emotionally-driven content that resonates beyond the event itself

  • Supported promotion of workshops, retreats, and recurring experiences

  • Strengthened brand identity through consistent visual storytelling

  • Helped translate in-person energy into digital content

More importantly, the content allowed the experience to live beyond a single day — extending its reach and impact online.
