Focus: Shortform Video, Social Content, Performance Optimization
Industry: Luxury Retail (Watches & Jewelry)

Introduction & Goal

TNS Diamonds is a luxury watch and jewelry brand with a strong presence on social media, known for showcasing high-end timepieces and engaging directly with its audience.

The goal was to improve content performance by shifting from product-focused videos to story-driven content that captures attention and drives engagement.

Rather than simply showcasing watches, the focus became creating content that:

  • Hooks viewers quickly

  • Keeps attention through narrative

  • Encourages interaction and conversation

Process & Experience

The opportunity wasn’t more content — it was better structured content.

I identified that the strongest-performing videos weren’t just about the product — they were about the story around it.

From there, I helped refine the content approach:

Story-First Editing

Instead of leading with visuals alone, videos were structured around:

  • Strong opening hooks

  • Narrative-driven pacing

  • Clear progression that keeps viewers watching

Retention-Focused Structure

Content was optimized for how people actually consume shortform video:

  • Faster pacing

  • Intentional cuts and timing

  • Visual variety to maintain attention

Repeatable Formats

Developed formats that could scale:

  • Story-based comparisons

  • Commentary-driven videos

  • Personality-led content

This allowed the brand to maintain consistency while continuing to test and improve.

Platform-Native Optimization

Each piece of content was edited with platform behavior in mind:

  • Designed for TikTok and Instagram Reels

  • Built for quick engagement and rewatchability

  • Structured to encourage comments and interaction

The Outcome

The result was a noticeable shift in how content performed and how the brand engaged with its audience.

  • Increased engagement driven by story-based content

  • Higher retention compared to product-only videos

  • More comments and audience interaction

  • Stronger, more consistent brand voice across content

Content moved from simple product display to engaging, conversation-driven storytelling.
